Beauty studios
Neat about the result. Tactful about service.
Reviews of a manicure or brow session cover the result and the visit. Reply with care and without pressure.
Velvet Beauty Studio
Example business
The manicure looked neat, but I was offered extra treatments several times during the visit. It felt like pressure rather than a choice.
Polite, no pressure, respectful
We are glad the manicure turned out neat, but feeling pressured is not what we want for anyone in our chair. Extra services should be an offer, never a condition, and the choice is always yours. We will pass your comments on to our nail technicians.
Reviews that need your attention
Clients judge more than the result: whether the appointment started on time, whether they were pushed towards extras and how comfortable the visit felt. Name the service in your reply, but do not comment on skin, nails or any reaction to a treatment. Do not promise a particular technician or invent a reason for a delay.
What to add to your settings
- List your services and the technicians’ names a reply may mention.
- Add a rule: no public comments on skin condition, allergies or contraindications.
- Discuss bookings, changes and refunds in private with reception.

Review
The manicure is lovely, but I was booked for 3 pm and only seen at about 3:40. Nobody warned me about the delay.
